I really liked it. It shows a different perspective about what happens after death. Even though at first I was a little shocked because of my religious background, I agree with him in the aspect of the way we here distort afterlife and the expectation of being rewarded if doing things "correctly". I believe we should be how we are because so, not as little children expecting a prize. That is why the shock of many of the characters.
Sexuality- the taboo of many is shown as it should be viewed, something natural. I might not endorse the view of the book, but it shows that many of the no that people grow up with is due to humans not because of a divine mandate.
I laughed a lot with American view of heaven.
Black History Month starts in Feb.2011, and Caribbean people should read more books by Caribbean authors who have traveled and in some cases still live abroad, books like;"A Struggle to Walk with Dignity"ISBN:978-0- 9784982-0-7,it gives the hole true story without the frills.
